Set at the intersection of diplomacy, innovation and enterprise, Gastech is a launchpad for collaboration and a showcase for progress, exploring the key technologies, solutions and partnerships driving the energy transition. Natural gas and LNG, hydrogen, climate technologies and AI all find their place at the event, where international strategies take form and where new ideas gain momentum.

Gastech 2025: co-hosting the future of energy

This year, we had the honour of co-hosting the 2025 edition – held in Milan, under the theme “Powering a sustainable energy future” – helping to shape the direction of the conversation and the experience.

With more than 1,000 speakers from over 150 countries and 160 sessions across 15 programmes, we played an active role both on stage and on the ground. Our dedicated stand showcased a hands-on view of how we are tackling critical challenges – boosting energy access through upstream innovation, investing in circular models and cutting-edge decarbonisation technologies. Through strategic panels, our presence highlighted how concrete actions can help deliver energy that is more sustainable, reliable and accessible for all.

The voice of leadership

Gastech 2025 was an opportunity to share our perspective on the future of energy through high-level discussions that brought our strategy into sharp focus. Our CEO Claudio Descalzi took the stage to share Eni’s industrial vision for the evolution of market scenarios: a framework that guides our actions across both traditional and emerging value chains.

Guido Brusco , Chief Operating Officer for Global Natural Resources and General Manager, addressed the evolving role of gas in ensuring energy security, especially amid rising demand and the transformative impact of AI.

Cristian Signoretto , Director of Global Gas & LNG Portfolio, underscored the impact of our LNG strategy, designed to accelerate access and support emissions reduction through fast-track projects in key global regions.

Together, these contributions outlined a coherent approach to transformation: one that is grounded in industrial expertise, open to technological innovation and committed to building partnerships capable of delivering on a complex global agenda.
