Re-Imagining The Agency Model

Re-Imagining The Agency Model

CUSTOMIZATION VS. COMMODITIZATION

Re-Imagining The Agency Model

Since we launched Brand Grow a year ago, we’ve seen several large Toronto ad agencies consolidating or breaking apart into specialized units. Before that, in 2015, Lowe Roche closed its doors in Toronto while ad agency holding company giant WPP PLC folded its Young & Rubicam brand in Toronto, combining it with Taxi Canada.

There’s no question that it’s a different world today in the advertising space. Globalization, rising costs and ever-increasing competition have created tighter profit margins and smaller marketing budgets. At the same time, massive digital disruption is dramatically reshaping the landscape. PWC forecasts that globally, digital advertising will be a $240 billion business by 2019, up from $135 billion in 2014. *

The way consumers interact with brands and technology is changing at lightning speed. More business is being conducted on a project basis, and revenue is coming in smaller amounts, requiring agencies to explore new, cutting edge approaches.

While the legacy ad agency model still has its place, there are alternative shops that are nimbler and more tightly aligned with progressive marketers, offering a more customized, rather than commoditized, experience. This is Brand Grow Media’s sweet spot.

Why We’re Different

We’re lean and we’re agile. Without a large in-house staff or real estate to maintain, we aren’t paying for massive infrastructure and passing on those costs to you. Through our cooperative model, we draw from a wide network of industry specialists in marketing, web and digital strategy and execution.

We put together small, focused teams who jump on innovation and move quickly to deliver engaging content. We bring them in early, plug them into your business, and integrate them with your own internal teams if and as needed, to ensure a collaborative approach and continuity of messaging.

We don’t follow a “proven methodology.” We listen to what you need, then adapt our approach to fit that need. We look at the big picture on your behalf, work with you to map out strategy, then plan and carry through tactical execution and analysis. We’re quick to identify new opportunities. And we’re open and totally transparent with you every step of the way.

Talk To Us

We can customize a fresh brand loyalty program of integrated omni-channel elements, or create one or more specific elements within a program.

The end result will be telling your story in a way that captures attention, leads to engagement, and results in conversion.
