This week, I had the privilege of bringing my son, Gunnar, to our Stryker orthopedic headquarters during our annual Women in Ortho event—a gathering that celebrates and elevates the voices of female surgeons, engineers, and leaders who are shaping the future of our field. He watched me film our team’s year-end video, explored some of our innovative technologies, sat in on lectures from world-class surgeons, met dozens of colleagues and experienced the work our teams do every day. He also saw firsthand the important role that male allies play in creating an environment where women can thrive.
