𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗵𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃 Letzte Woche haben wir führende Köpfe aus Bundeswehr, Politik und Praxis zusammengebracht, um über die Zukunft der Wehrtechnik zu diskutieren. Rafaela Kraus leitete die Diskussionsrunde, in der unsere Panelists ihre Perspektiven teilten: Andrea Rotter identifizierte konkrete technologische Lücken, die geschlossen werden müssen, um wettbewerbsfähig zu bleiben. Dr. Florian Dorn zeigte auf, wie der Bundestag die richtigen Rahmenbedingungen für schnellere Innovation schaffen kann. Generalmajor a.D. Wolfgang Gäbelein machte deutlich: Innovationszyklen sollten im Planungsprozess mitgedacht werden - Zeit ist der kritische Faktor. Marc A. Wietfeld teilte seine Erkenntnisse aus der Ukraine und erläuterte, wie Start-ups mit disruptiven Technologien und agilen Entwicklungsprozessen die Wehrtechnik grundlegend transformieren. 𝗦𝗘𝟯 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗨 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝗜-𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀 Combining our spatial intelligence solutions and data with Carmenta’s proven geospatial tools delivers real-time situational awareness for terrain routing. Our Spatial AI technology turns live drone footage into high-resolution, semantic 3D maps. Carmenta’s geospatial tools can then analyze these maps, unlocking new features and improved terrain routing. Whether for crewed or unmanned ground vehicles, one of the key challenges in terrain routing is accessing and utilizing up-to-date environmental data. There is a growing need for intelligent, adaptive solutions in defense operations, and allies must collaborate to deliver technologically advanced and robust systems. This collaboration is a testament to that and showcases how Spatial AI supports smarter, faster decision-making in complex environments.

𝗦𝗘𝟯 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆’𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗣𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘂𝘀 During the Minister’s visit to the Bundeswehr (German Federal Armed Forces) Innovation Lab in Erding, our team had the chance to demonstrate our capabilities in a live scenario. We showcased reconnaissance with multiple autonomous drones flying without GPS, relying on the onboard image sensors for localization. Our system supports targeting, autonomous overflight, and is built for easy integrations with existing systems. Using advanced 3D computer vision, our Spatial AI software is able to answer questions, locate objects, or perform complex analysis. Together with our partners at ARX Robotics, we have extended our system to support image-based drivability analysis and path planning for UGVs. We are excited to collaborate with Carmenta. Our joint solution leverages AI and 3D computer vision pipelines to process real-time UAV video feeds into semantical, georeferenced 3D maps. Unlike conventional systems that rely on GNSS signals, our technology performs localization and scene understanding in GPS-denied environments. Integrating this capability into geospatial systems, operators can visualize complex environments directly on dynamic maps. By combining these real-time, high-resolution maps with LLMs, we enable faster, more precise and natural mission planning, navigation, and threat assessment.
