The Global Digital Health Network remains the leading global convening for public health networking, bringing together technology innovators, donors, researchers, government representatives, and implementing partners working across low- and middle-income countries. This year, SFH is proud to be featured at GDHF 2025, where we will share insights on the transformative power of visual storytelling in advancing digital health interventions. Our presentation, “Catalysing Digital Health Access: Visual Storytelling and Open-Source Tools to Drive Demand for Family Planning Services,” showcases lessons from the ePharma4FP (ePharmacy for Family Planning) initiative, an innovative digital solution expanding access to family planning information and services. This work is led by Isaac Kehinde, SFH Graphics Designer/Media, whose expertise in documentation and creative communication has significantly enhanced the initiative’s visibility and impact. He will be representing the team, including Dr Jennifer Anyanti FAPH, Uchenna Okafor PhD, Tunde Oyelana, Chinedu Okoye, and Yusuf Hassan Wada, virtually at the forum. SFH is excited to contribute to this global conversation and reaffirm our commitment to using innovative communication strategies to strengthen health outcomes and drive digital transformation. #DigitalHealth #GDHF #FamilyPlanning

Yesterday marked Day 2 of the XIX World Water Congress in Marrakech, Morocco, and the Society for Family Health Nigeria (SFH) continues to proudly represent Nigeria on the global stage. Through our WASH for Healthy Lives (W4HL) project, SFH delivered two oral abstract presentations that spotlight innovative, community-driven approaches to safe water systems and climate resilience. Our first presentation, “Small Drop, Big Impact: A Microscope Approach to Community Safe Water Systems,” provided insight into how localised interventions can significantly strengthen water safety and health outcomes. The second paper, “Lessons Learned from the W4HL Project Addressing Climate-Induced Scarcity and Improving Water Resource Management in Rural Nigerian Communities,” highlighted our experience applying a social behaviour change communication model to engage communities, enhance collective ownership, and build resilience against climate-induced water challenges. These presentations underscore SFH leadership in deploying practical, evidence-driven WASH interventions that empower communities and improve long-term sustainability. The Congress continues tomorrow, where SFH will again take centre stage with another oral presentation titled “Sustaining Groundwater Resilience Through WASH Interventions.” Through these engagements, SFH reaffirms its commitment to advancing water security, improving community health, and contributing to global knowledge on sustainable WASH programming. #WASH #WorldWaterCongress

The World Water Congress is one of the world’s leading platforms bringing together experts, policymakers, civil society, innovators, and practitioners to tackle water-resource challenges head-on. It provides a space for sharing knowledge, showcasing innovative water solutions, and building international partnerships for sustainable water use. This year’s edition of the Congress is being held between the 1st and 5th of December 2025 with the theme “Water in a Changing World: Innovation and Adaptation.” The focus is on how we can jointly develop adaptive strategies and innovative solutions in water governance, climate resilience, and sustainable resource management as the world grapples with environmental change. With growing climate pressures, water insecurity, and the rising demand for safe water and sanitation, especially in vulnerable communities, the Congress offers critical opportunities for learning, collaboration, and innovation. For SFH, this aligns with our WASH mandate and commitment to ensuring clean water, sanitation, and hygiene for all. At the Congress, Pharm. Adizue Jane will be presenting our work in protecting groundwater and the lessons we have learned in implementing the project in Edo and Nasarawa States, thereby contributing our voice and experience from Nigeria to global conversations on water management. We will also be highlighting how innovative communication was used to sustain knowledge on healthy WASH practices among school children in the project intervention states. We believe water is a human right, and by participating in this Congress, SFH strengthens its voice for safe water, hygiene, and sustainable development across Africa and beyond. #WASH
