In april 2024 organiseerde CAAP Culture haar eerste cultuurweek in tien gevangenissen in Wallonië en Brussel. Het resultaat? Acht voorstellingen, meer dan 200 deelnemers, veel lachende gezichten én ontroerende getuigenissen. Het succes was zo groot dat er in 2025 een tweede editie volgde. Tijdens de cultuurweek kunnen mensen in detentie deelnemen aan theatervoorstellingen, concerten, shows of zelfs het opnemen van een podcast – momenten die hen helpen even te ontsnappen aan de kilte en de moeilijkheden van het gevangenisleven. CAAP Culture herinnert ons eraan dat toegang tot cultuur een recht is voor iedereen, zowel voor vrije burgers als voor mensden in detentie. What an amazing turnout at the Wild Summit in Bristol yesterday.   This first Wild Summit provided an opportunity for the region to make a strong call for nature recovery. Triodos Bank UK has always been proud to have our headquarters in the city and have a strong commitment to nature. We backed a landmark joint commitment by local leaders to embed nature into growth plans.   As a bank we know that innovative finance across the UK can help to catalyse the creation of and investment in new business models to support the restoration and conservation of nature. Whether it is peatland, wetlands, grasslands, or forests, there is huge potential to recognise the multiple impacts that nature-based projects can deliver whilst sequestering atmospheric emissions.   We also know that ecological health, economic resilience and human health are interdependent.
