Last week, we hosted our 𝐄𝐱-𝐀𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 at 81 Newgate Street with BuildForce Programme, welcoming over 40 former service members to explore careers in construction. The day was packed with insight and opportunity. Attendees heard from people who’ve made the transition themselves, sharing how military skills like resilience, leadership and adaptability have become assets in our industry. We also created a careers fair environment with our subcontractor partners, offering practical advice, mentorship and live opportunities. These one-to-one conversations helped attendees see clear pathways into careers in the construction industry. The results speak for themselves: renewed confidence, positive feedback and several strong candidates already being lined up for roles within our supply chain.
