GROUNDBREAKING! We have officially broken ground on Alta River Park in Fort Worth TX. We were honored to have our Associate Principal Andrew Fastle, RA, LEED AP represent Design Balance and the rest of the design team at a fantastic groundbreaking celebration held last week by Wood Partners and their partners at HCG and Comerica Bank. When completed, the community will provide 365 multifamily units in four buildings along the Trinity River and Clearfork trail system. We have enjoyed working with such a great ownership and design team, and can't wait to see it built! What a game and what a moment! 🏈🏆 Design Balance was thrilled to head to Cowboys Stadium last night to cheer on our very own Tim Sampson’s son, Tate, and the Muenster Hornets in their epic 2A Division II Championship showdown! With less than a minute to play, Muenster took the lead over Shiner in a nail-biter finish, securing the championship in unforgettable fashion. The Hornets displayed remarkable determination, and Tate made us all proud! Congratulations to the entire Muenster team on this amazing victory!

We're overjoyed to celebrate the 5 year anniversary of Design Balance!! What started as an idea, John Womble, AIA NCARB and some contracted help, has grown into a thriving permanent team of 14 and a supportive culture to really be proud of! Here's a reminder of what life was like five years ago, and a few photos from Xcaret Arte resort in Mexico where we celebrated at our company retreat! It was a wonderful long weekend where we managed to have a few super-constructive meetings but also incredible food and conversation, relaxation, and adventure. Cheers to many more!
