As we head into Thanksgiving week, I’ve been reflecting on what an extraordinary year it has been for ESG Architecture & Design as well as on the past twenty-one years I’ve had the privilege of spending with this incredible firm. This team has delivered some of the most inspiring work in our history. We have created buildings together that continue to shape communities and elevate how people live, work, and experience the world. I am immensely proud of what we’ve accomplished. At the end of this year, I will be concluding my tenure with the firm and stepping into my next chapter. Transitions are never simple, but I’m grounded in gratitude for the experiences, the people, and the lessons that have shaped me here. I’m leaving with a full heart and a clear sense of possibility for what comes next. I want to acknowledge two people who profoundly shaped my journey at ESG: David Graham and Mark Swenson, our founding partners. Twenty-one years ago, they took a chance on me, offered mentorship, and gave me opportunities that set the course for my career. Mark was ESG’s first President and I was honored to follow as the second. Both are now retired, but their impact on me and on the firm continues to be felt every day. I remain deeply grateful to them. To our clients, thank you for trusting us with your visions, your projects, and your partnership. To the entire ESG team, your talent, creativity, and passion have been the heartbeat of everything we’ve achieved. Leading this firm for the past nine years has been one of the great honors of my life. I’m excited for what comes next and confident that ESG will continue to thrive, innovate, and deliver exceptional design for years to come. As we enter the holiday season, I want to wish all of you a warm and joyful Thanksgiving. I hope you find rest, connection, and time with the people who matter most. Exciting news from Phoenix! Our residential subsidiary, High Street Residential, has teamed up with MAR-GULF MANAGEMENT CO INC and MDI Capital, LLC to break ground on Union Park Residences, a thoughtfully designed 308-unit multifamily community in Phoenix’s Norterra master-planned development. Scheduled for delivery in Q4 2027, this project will include studios, one- and two-bedroom units ranging from 600 to 1,400 square feet. Units will feature high-end finishes while community amenities will include a pool, spa, fitness center with a sauna and cold plunge, spacious coworking area, pet spa, dog run, club room, and game lounge. We are thrilled to announce that Flora, our residential development in Chicago, has won Multifamily Development of the Year in the 38th Annual Awards for Excellence held by NAIOP Chicago. Developed by High Street Residential, Trammell Crow Company’s residential subsidiary, Flora is a 368-unit luxury residential tower located in the Fulton Market neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Completed in October 2024, this building offers a mix of studio to three-bedroom apartments and includes an abundance of amenities available to the residents.
