How can a #community solve for an environmental #risk? 💧 ⛰️ The Tahoe Lead Removal Project proved the power of people coming together to plot a positive path towards a tangible outcome. Its easy to get frustrated by situations of this nature, especially when its close to home. The challenges seem daunting, and odds of impact low. But we make too many assumptions, and can underestimate what small, passionate groups can deliver. Communities can think like #startups, and get started. Its never been easier with the tools at our disposal today. Our efforts evolved from letter writing to petitions, and pursuing permits to launch our own project. We were met with support by 3rd parties and government agencies, and our first authorization proved the possible. Never assume the obvious will be accomplished - because for so long here it simply wasn’t. But once more people knew, and there was an alternative, independent path to removal established? The way forward was unlocked, and what lingered for decades was gone in months. Exciting to consider what we can accomplish by bringing all sides together behind public goals. We got the lead out of Lake Tahoe, and we can do so much more in the decades to come when it comes to our environment. A huge thank you to Imagine5 for helping share our story 🙏🏼

We had a blast celebrating a huge milestone at Tola today: our first $1 million financing customer! A huge thank you to Chris Tan and the team at Naia 🍨 For over 2 years, we’ve had the pleasure to forge an outstanding partnership with this incredible company. In many ways, they are the epitome of #entrepreneurship, evolving with market tastes and trends over the past two decades from a series of storefronts to a vertically integrated manufacturer.
