On Nov. 20, OneGoal hosted 200+ education leaders across Massachusetts for its fourth annual Partnership Summit! Presentations and workshops centered on “Meeting The Moment: Our Path to Postsecondary Success in Massachusetts.” 🎓 🎤Headlined by remarks from Massachusetts Commissioner of Education Pedro Martinez, presenters also included Massachusetts Education Secretary Patrick Tutwiler, PhD, and nationally recognized school counseling expert Dr. Mandy Savitz-Romer. Workshops offered deep dives into family engagement in postsecondary choices, using retention checks to support students, equity-focused policy shifts in postsecondary education, and more. It was incredible to witness the energy and commitment at our Bright Spirits, Bright Futures event in Chicago this week! We loved seeing everyone engage with our mission in new ways through the interactive stations! ✨ 🎧From listening to alumni audio and video stories, to writing advice to their 18-year-old self, to speaking directly with our alumni, we hope guests left with a deeper understanding of why this work matters so much. Last Friday, over 200 OneGoal Fellows across 11 high schools in New York came together for "The Goal Ahead: Career Exploration Day" at Baruch College.
