Another week, another opportunity to drive change! 🚀 Still processing everything from this year's Prosper Company Forum. Being identified as a Prosper Accelerator has been nothing short of amazing. I'm thrilled to be on this journey to represent Flik Hospitality Group and Compass Group USA as next-generation senior talent and create meaningful change in our industry. #WeAreFLIK

Committed ally and partner of change.

We are better together — especially when it comes to foodservice and hospitality. My heart is full and I’m feeling inspired after attending the 2025 Prosper Forum, where more than one hundred industry leaders gathered to tackle challenges, share bold ideas, and lift up the next generation of hospitality leaders. A shoutout to Prosper conference presenter and my Compass Group USA colleague Scott Davis, president and CEO of Flik Hospitality Group , for spotlighting how we’re reshaping both the guest experience and our workforce. And huge congrats to colleagues Jenna Carpenterr and Afeisha Harrison for joining the Prosper Accelerator cohort. Their fresh perspectives and big ideas are exactly what our industry needs, and I can’t wait to see their impact grow. Together, we’re building a better table — where there’s room for all! #ProsperForum #Hospitality #Flik #CompassB&I #CompassGroup

Chairman, President and CEO at J&J Snack Foods Corp

This week at the Prosper Company Forum, I connected with food service and hospitality leaders to discuss where our industry is headed. I enjoyed hearing from and sharing ideas with many leaders, including CEC Entertainment CEO David McKillips It was great to highlight our partnership with Chuck E. Cheese by showcasing and sampling a custom Dippin' Dots, LLC flavor we launched this year. Strong partnerships drive innovation. At J&J Snack Foods Corp, we believe flavor is one of the best ways to spark new possibilities. Thank you to the Prosper team and all the attendees. I left the forum energized by the collaboration, creativity, and momentum shaping the future of our industry!

CEO, Share Our Strength | No Kid Hungry

At this week’s Prosper Company event, it was about building a better table—and in some ways, it felt like home. That’s because the restaurant industry is a natural ally in our mission to end childhood hunger.  I was joined by Noah Glass, CEO and Founder of Olo and a dedicated board member of Share Our Strength, on stage to unpack what that really means. Something that stood out is our shared commitment to innovation to feed more kids and families.  It was great to connect with #NoKidHungry champions like John Peyton, CEO of Dine Brands Global, Scott Boatwright, CEO of Chipotle Mexican Grill–both of whom, along with Noah Glass are part of our CEO Pledge to End Summer Hunger.  Thank you to Citi, a core partner and longtime supporter for integrating throughout the event and congratulations to David Jobe and his incredible team for a phenomenal event—thank you for designating #NoKidHungry as the spotlight cause.  Special thanks to Julie Zucker and Branded Hospitality for amplifying our message. The #restaurant industry's commitment to our mission is palpable—I’m inspired and deeply grateful.

Director, Enterprise Hospitality & Event Services

This week I had the pleasure of attending the Prosper Company’s Prosper Forum at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island. I was humbled to be asked by David Jobe, Hattie Hill, Luke Kircher, James Fripp and the rest of the Prosper team to kickoff the conference by welcoming everyone to not only the place I call home, but to the exact place where my hospitality career began over 30 years ago. I’m honored to have been selected as a 2025 Prosper Accelerator. Seeing the talent in this program makes me excited for the future of our industry. I was also fortunate to be able to have my daughter, Cassidy join me for the majority of the conference. As Cassidy starts her career in our wonderful industry, it was great to see the conference through her eyes. A big thank you to all the industry leaders like Greg Creed, Susannah Sellers-Ryan, Fleur Veldhoven, Nimesh Patel, Marc Fuchs, Michiel Bakker and so many others who took time to speak with her, connect and share some of their insights and experiences. #ProsperForum2025 #ServantLeadership

🌍 What does it take to lead transformation in foodservice and hospitality? At the Prosper Forum, Carl Orsbourn joined customers, partners, and prospects on stage to tackle the big topics driving the industry: change, transformation, and technology. In just 30 minutes, the panel explored challenges and guiding principles from multiple perspectives on how to adapt to rapid change while building more resilient, tech-enabled businesses. Thank you to the Prosper team for creating a forum where these conversations can move the industry forward! Prosper Company

I just returned from the Prosper Company Forum in Amelia Island, FL, and I’m still reflecting on the leadership lessons that came through so clearly in the stories and insights shared. A few quotes stood out to me—and they carry powerful reminders for any leader: From Greg Creed: “Actions speak louder than words.” “Do the job that no one else wants to do.” “Embrace the detour.” From Christine Barone, CEO of Dutch Bros: “As a high-level executive, your decisions are 50/50.” “So goes the leader, so goes the rest.” What really drove these lessons home were the stories from Reginald L. Stover, MSOD, BA, PCC, Chief People Officer of Henny Penny, and Josh Halpern, CEO of Big Chicken: 👉 Reginald L. Stover, MSOD, BA, PCC shared how, during Army training, he froze when his squad was ambushed. His general told him the failure wasn’t in making the “wrong” decision—it was in not making one at all. Leaders must move forward, even without perfect clarity. 👉 Josh Halpern, told how he once hesitated between two ad agencies. When he asked his boss which to choose, his boss replied, “If I have to decide, I don’t need you.” Josh made the call, and it worked—though later he found out his boss would have chosen the other one. The point? Leadership is about decisiveness and ownership, not perfection. The common thread: Leadership isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about action, humility, resilience, and setting the tone. When leaders show up that way, their organizations follow.   Amazing learnings from the Prosper Forum and fortunate to be a part of this organization and learn from all of the great leaders at the event. Looking for Accelerate taking place in Dallas in October!   #Leadership #ProsperForum2025 #Hospitality #GrowthMindset

VP of Consulting | High EQ, Strategic Transformation

✨ This week I had the privilege of joining my colleagues from Qu at Prosper Forum on Amelia Island, FL. It was an energizing few days connecting with top senior leaders across the restaurant industry in a highly relational, intimate setting. The conversations reinforced just how much innovation is shaping the future of guest and team member experience, from AI to new service models to unified platforms (like Qu’s!) that make operators’ lives easier and enhance the customer experience. Highlights, beyond the great content itself, included: • Candid discussions with senior executives from iconic brands across QSR and fast casual. • A private dinner with a diverse mix of brand and tech leaders, where ideas flowed as freely as the conversation. • Recording a podcast with Inc Tank GTM (thank you Michael Beck and Chad Horn!) on industry trends, the evolving role of POS, and why we’re so excited about the journey ahead at Qu. Events like this remind me how much progress we’re making as an industry, and how valuable it is to step away from the day-to-day to connect, share, and collaborate. Most of all, it was about building and deepening relationships across the industry as a reminder that the future of restaurants will be shaped together, through partnership and shared vision. 🌟 Big thanks to the Prosper Company (shout out to David Jobe Luke Kircher Justine Jobe Huck Kircher and many others) for curating such a meaningful environment. And to my colleagues Amir Hudda and Niko Papademetriou for the fantastic partnership over the few days together. Looking forward to continuing the conversations sparked here, the future of restaurants is bright. 🌟 #ProsperForum #RestaurantTech

    Senior Foodservice Industry Leader

As I head back to AZ from the 2025 Prosper Forum conference on Amelia Island, I am full. Filled by incredible people, great new interactions, amazing new contacts, powerful thinking shifts, powerful leadership shares, and industry changing innovation. Prosper brings together the most powerful and diverse communities in our industry. You can’t attend and leave without more than you came with. Great gratitude to David, Luke, Huck, James, Hattie, Justine, Jeremiah and so many more with the Prosper team. And the industry icons there with such a heart to lead and serve, inspiring but also a great example that it takes many hands and we all need to be pulling together. I was able to do a 5-minute TED talk with the Accelerator Group on Sunday then have the incredible opportunity to introduce the amazing John Barone for his geo-political, economic, commodity, international world view presentation. John is a humble man, but there is NOBODY better than him. And man did he deliver. (Picture below is Luke and John and I in the green room). All in all amazing. If you were there be thankful and pay the learnings forward. If you didn’t make it, you have my endorsement to do so next year. Some people say it takes a village (I get the metaphor), I say it takes individual and intentional commitment. #NeilSudaiser, #LouisBasile, #HughRoth, #TedBalestreri, #PerryMiele, #JohnBarone
