The Frick Collection is your home for art from the Renaissance through the late nineteenth century. Open since 1935, the museum offers intimate encounters with one of the world’s foremost collections of European fine and decorative arts. Founded by Henry Clay Frick, the collection features celebrated works by Bellini, Fragonard, Rembrandt, Vermeer, and more. The adjoining Frick Art Research Library, a leading art historical research center, was established a century ago by Helen Clay Frick and provides access to its rich materials for scholars and the public.
