What is your professional background, and what led you to develop an interest in that field?
My background is in chemistry, encompassing both bench and computational approaches, and has focused on a range of molecular systems, from small organic molecules to advanced transition metal catalysts and enzymes. My interest in chemistry originated from an early curiosity for understanding complex chemical reactions—an interest first ignited by an exploration of solid rocket propellants and later grown into a fascination with creating novel matter.
