Slush 2025! What a week 🌪️ Between back-to-back events, talks, product launches and late night catch-ups across the ecosystem, Slush once again proved why it’s one of the highlight of our year. A few of our favorite moments: ✨ Lovable turned one, and we threw a party worthy of the occasion. Together with our co-hosts Creandum, Hummingbird Ventures, Accel and Deel, we filled the night with glitter, magic, a surprise performance of “Lovable,” and an intimate crowd of the people who’ve been rooting for the team since day one. Anton Osika & Fabian Hedin + team, we’re so proud of what you’ve achieved so far and celebrating you was a no-brainer. 🎤 Magnus Hambleton took the stage to talk Europe’s tech future. In conversation with Aura Salla from the European Commission, he dove into sovereign AI, regulation, energy, and what it will take for Europe to define its own path globally. 👓 IXI’s product demo was a look at the future. A prototype museum that ended with their newest milestone: the world’s lightest smart glasses at just 22g. Recently featured in Dezeen and deservedly so. 🎙️ Julius Thimm from our Angel Collective sat down with our Collective member Tuomo Riekki on stage. A sharp, practical session on product execution, shipping fast, embedding engineers with customers and building “Lego-like” systems that make week-scale iteration possible. 🎤 Ruben Bryon pitched Verda (formerly DataCrunch) on Startup Stage. With AI dominating pretty much every conversation at Slush, it was great to see Ruben showing the infrastructure and ideas that will actually move the space forward. At the end of the day, it was all about the people. The run-ins, the late-night chats, the nonstop introductions!
